21 August to 6 November, 2021
The Helen Timbury – Retrospective in Print exhibition adorned the walls of WAS Gallery over spring. Her beautifully skillfull linocut images depict wonderful Australian flora and fauna, bringing the environment and a touch of spring indoors.
Helen is a very well known local artist, working from her studio in Drouin. She exhibits widely throughout Gippsland and is a regular at art and craft markets, as well as holding many workshops on print making. Her exhibition at WAS Gallery had a false start on 21 August, the day all Victorian regions were locked down, happily it finally opened and was extended to 6 November, 2021. Locals have been very supportive since re-opening.
WAS Gallery is at 37 Latrobe Street, Warragul, hours are Wednesday to Saturday, 10am – 4pm. Contact: 0428 513 905, email: anne.lorraine@bigpond.com, wasgallery.com.au. Entry is free.
