Helen Timbury – Retrospective in Print Exhibition

Helen Timbury’s Retrospective in Print exhibition adorned the walls of WAS Gallery over spring. Her beautifully skillfull linocut images depict wonderful Australian flora and fauna, bringing the environment and a touch of spring indoors.

Helen is a very well known local artist, working from her studio in Drouin. She exhibits widely throughout Gippsland and is a regular at art and craft markets, as well as holding many workshops on print making. Her exhibition at WAS Gallery had a false start on 21 August, the day all Victorian regions were locked down, happily it finally opened and was extended to 6 November, 2021. Locals have been very supportive since re-opening.

WAS Gallery is at 37 Latrobe Street, Warragul, hours are Wednesday to Saturday, 10am – 4pm. Contact: 0428 513 905, email: anne.lorraine@bigpond.com, wasgallery.com.au. Entry is free.
