13 March to 8 May, 2021
WAS Gallery’s second exhibition for 2021 was Connected by three artists, Teresa Kuczynska, Mitch Vane and Laura Lavender. They have a long connection with gallery Director, Anne Lorraine and WAS potter, Gary McPhedran, who all studied Graphic Art together at RMIT.
The exhibition opened on 13 March and, to the delight of visitors, was launched by special guest speaker, writer, humourist and columnist for The Age, Danny Katz.
The Connected collections were diverse but linked by their history. Works featured prints, paintings, photography and ceramics by the three artists. Teresa and Mitch have their studios in Melbourne while Laura has hers in Sutton Grange, Central Victoria.
The exhibition ran until 8 May, 2021.
